About The Role

Employment type: part-time, 2 to 3 days per week

Trust isn't a checkbox at Doctify - it's a core part of what we deliver. Patients rely on our platform to make critical healthcare decisions and clinicians stake their reputations on our reviews.

We have a strong compliance and governance foundation, and now we're scaling it - globally, across AI, in a complex and developing regulatory environment.

As we expand into new markets and deepen our investment in AI, we're hiring a Trust Officer to lead that next chapter: turning our strong foundations into an even stronger system that patients and Doctors can rightly rely on.

This is a senior, strategic role for someone who thrives at the intersection of compliance, data governance, and stakeholder trust — and who wants to shape how a fast-growing healthtech company earns and maintains confidence at scale.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Trust governance: informing and helping with the frameworks, policies, and oversight structures that make our review and endorsement system credible and independently verifiable.

  • Trust communications: partnering with the Marketing team on our public-facing trust content.

  • Legal liaison: coordinating with external counsel, reviewing contracts , and escalation management.

  • Data protection: overseeing and improving GDPR compliance and DPO responsibilities to patients and clients.

  • Insurance & risk: auditing of current coverage and management of appropriate insurance for a scaling HealthTech platform.

  • Trust Policies: reviewing content moderation standards, acceptable use policy, and dispute resolution frameworks.

  • External validation: commissioning and managing third-party audits; building relationships with relevant regulatory and standards bodies.

About you

  • You may be a qualified or part qualified lawyer, likely trained in commercial, healthcare, regulatory, or tech law. Alternatively you may have worked in an environment of compliance, communication or trust.

  • You will have worked at, or with platforms, consumer-facing businesses, or healthcare organisations, and understand the operational reality of working in healthcare and B2C and B2B.

  • You will be genuinely interested in expanding and ensuring trust as a strategic and ethical opportunity.

  • You will be comfortable operating at start-up pace with the ability to move fast, make pragmatic decisions, and build from scratch rather than inherit.

  • You will have excellent communication with the ability to explain complex compliance, legal and governance concepts to non-legal leadership teams and to the public.
