The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for overseeing a team of Business Analysts, ensuring high-quality analysis and delivery across projects and programmes. This role combines hands‐on business analysis with leadership, coaching, and strategic planning. The Senior BA acts as a key liaison between client’s key stakeholders and DOCOsoft Client Delivery and Technical project and platform teams, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and driving continuous improvement in analysis practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development.
  • Engage with clients (and potential clients) to understand their operational issues and document their business requirements ensuring alignment to the functional capabilities DOCOsoft provides.
  • Working at both project and programme level, ensure clarity of scope, clear business requirements and requirements traceability ensuring the solutions provided meet our clients' needs and drive the value expected.
  • Define the scope of work, provide effort estimates and allocate BA resources across projects based on skills, capacity, and business priorities.
  • Support the creation of Statement of Work and Request for Change documents ensuring clarity of scope of work and agreeing key milestones and deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain BA standards, templates, and best practices. Ensure consistency and quality of requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis outputs.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate across all teams within DOCOsoft, with our existing customers and support early engagement with our potential new customers.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit and validate requirements.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non‐technical audiences.
  • Continuous improvement including driving improvements in BA tools, methodologies, and processes.
  • Monitor industry trends and introduce innovative analysis techniques.
  • Champion agile, lean, or hybrid delivery models as appropriate.

Key Attributes

  • Approximately 7+ years of business analysis experience including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‐solving capabilities.
  • Expertise in business process modelling, data analysis, and requirements engineering.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Visio, Microsoft Office including Dev Ops and BA frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Thorough and methodical approach to work, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to engender trust and credibility both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other company departments positively so that all company objectives are met.
  • Willingness to travel.
