As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across DOCOsoft’s CMS and VEW platforms. Acting as the link between our clients’ operational teams and DOCOsoft’s delivery and technical teams, you will lead discovery, understand business processes and translate client needs into clear requirements aligned with our platforms’ capabilities. You will support projects from discovery and requirements definition through development, testing, training and go-live. Success means that client needs are fully understood, requirements and scope are agreed, risks and dependencies are identified early, and the delivered solution meets the agreed business need. You will report to the Senior Business Analyst as part of the wider Client Delivery team.
Responsibilities:
- Own business analysis activities across CMS and VEW projects, including new implementations, data migrations, platform upgrades, new features and additional modules.
- Facilitate client discovery sessions and workshops to understand current processes, operational challenges, business requirements and desired outcomes.
- Translate client needs into clear business and functional requirements aligned with DOCOsoft’s platform capabilities, identifying gaps, risks and dependencies.
- Produce high-quality requirements specifications, business rules, process flows, migration requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage the requirements review and sign-off process.
- Partner with the Project Manager to maintain clarity of scope, assess proposed changes and address requirements-related risks, dependencies and decisions.
- Collaborate with Engineering and other technical specialists to explain the business context, clarify requirements and support data migration, integration and solution-design activities.
- Support User Acceptance Testing, defect triage and client readiness, and prepare release notes, training materials and other supporting documentation.
- Deliver client Show and Tell sessions, training and post-go-live support, while contributing to the continuous improvement of DOCOsoft’s business analysis standards and ways of working.
Key Requirements:
- Five or more years’ experience in a client-facing Business Analyst role within enterprise software, SaaS implementation or a comparable environment.
- Experience managing business analysis activities across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements definition through development, testing and go-live.
- Strong experience leading workshops, mapping business processes and producing clear requirements, user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams or client projects while maintaining a thorough and accurate approach.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to manage expectations and engage with senior client audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Management, Product, Engineering, QA and other technical teams.
- Knowledge of the London Insurance Market, including Lloyd’s and the claims lifecycle, together with the ability to work from the DOCOsoft London office or client sites two to three days each week and travel where necessary.
