You will be the primary commercial and relationship lead for a portfolio of mid‑to‑large London insurance clients using our enterprise SaaS platform. This is a mid‑level individual contributor role focused on account retention, renewals, and revenue growth, working closely with Sales, Product, Implementation, and Support to deliver value and deepen client partnerships. Personal relationships and regular face‑to‑face engagement across London are central to success.

Responsibilities

  • Account ownership: Own a portfolio of 5 to 8 strategic accounts, maintain account plans and track health metrics.
  • Retention and renewals: Drive on‑time renewals, prepare renewal proposals, and proactively mitigate churn risks.
  • Revenue growth: Identify, qualify and progress upsell and cross‑sell opportunities in partnership with Sales; support commercial negotiations to close deals.
  • Client engagement: Run quarterly business reviews, executive briefings and adoption workshops to demonstrate ROI and strengthen relationships.
  • Cross‑functional coordination: Act as the client advocate internally to influence product priorities, implementation timelines and support SLAs.
  • Operational rigour: Keep CRM updated, maintain accurate forecasts, and produce concise account health reports.
  • Escalation management: Coordinate escalations and ensure timely resolution with Support and Professional Services.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 3–6 years in B2B account management, customer success or commercial roles; SaaS experience preferred.
  • Commercial skills: Proven track record managing renewals and contributing to account growth.
  • Relationship skills: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders across underwriting, broking, operations and IT.
  • Attributes: Highly organised, proactive, consultative, and relationship‑driven.
  • Market knowledge: Familiarity with the London insurance market (insurers, Lloyd’s, brokers, MGAs) is highly desirable.
  • Tools and analysis: Proficient with Hubspot, Salesforce or similar CRM, Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint and basic reporting.
