Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Event Assistant Executive Graduate Intern to support the planning and delivery of our events. This is a hands-on role designed for someone eager to learn every aspect of event execution, content production, and audience engagement. You will receive in-person training from a Scotland-based Content Manager and gain exposure to both onsite and offsite event operations with opportunity to travel with the team. This internship has strong potential to convert into a full-time role for the right candidate.
Paid internship - 21,000 per annum
Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh (Remote with in-person training in Scotland at first)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the end-to-end delivery of events
- Support speaker liaison, including coordination and communications
- Manage administrative tasks related to event planning and execution
- Provide support on ticket sales
- Contribute to some marketing efforts
- Work closely with content teams to understand and deliver event narratives
- Support live event operations, including attendee management and logistics
- Learn and operate event and content platforms used by the company
Candidate Profile
- Based in Glasgow or Edinburgh
- Graduate or early-career candidate (internship level)
- Some experience required in events
- Demonstrated interest or knowledge in AI and/or Politics
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and “say yes” to challenges
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with speakers and stakeholders
- Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude
- Willingness to occasionally be on-site and travel for events
