- Description
- Don't know Dock & Bay? You're missing out, because we're great (and humble). Quick intro:
Our founders, Andy (Head Poncho) and Ben (Towel Wizard of Oz), started Dock & Bay back in 2015, after sharing the same struggle of standard towels being too bulky for their backpacks while travelling.
It's a hard knock life, eh?
Fast forward 8 years and we're a certified B Corp, with 100+ products across 8 categories, selling in the UK, Australia, the US, Canada and Europe.
Our mission is to make the world brighter and we need your help (if you fit the job description, obviously).
We're on the list of UK's Best Places to Work in Retail, Best Places to Work for Development, Best Places to Work for Women, AND officially a Sunday Times Best Place to Work.
So you KNOW we'll look after you.
🎯 THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Reporting into the Growth Manager, the Content & Growth Executive is hands-on across content, paid social and Tik Tok Shop, playing a key role in how fast and how well Dock & Bay can test, create and scale.
This role briefs and produces content with our in-house design team and external creators, keeps our ad channels running smoothly day to day, and owns the daily hustle of Tik Tok Shop, from listings to Lives.
We're after someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do next.
You'll be trained up, but from day one we want someone who brings ideas, tests them, and helps us scale what works.
- ✅ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (WE'RE GETTING SERIOUS NOW)
- Write and brief content for our in-house design team and UGC creators, turning agreed angles and hooks into clear creative direction
- Get comfortable in front of camera yourself, helping produce ad content alongside our internal creative team
- Manage relationships with creators and designers to keep assets landing on time, every time
- Source new UGC talent through basic outreach, building out our creator pipeline across markets
- Build and upload ads across Meta, Google, Tik Tok and Snapchat, following briefs from the Growth Manager
- Monitor live campaigns daily, catching disapprovals and delivery issues before they become problems
- Set up and log new creative and audience tests, capturing learnings as part of our test and learn culture
- Support the onboarding of new channels as our mix expands (think Snapchat, App Lovin)
- Own the day-to-day running of Tik Tok Shop, from listings and stock through to Tik Tok Lives
- Coordinate Tik Tok affiliate outreach and sample activity, keeping creator partners engaged
- Pull performance data from Polar Analytics, Meta Ads Manager and Shopify to keep our reporting sharp
- Use AI tools day to day and keep an eye out for new use cases worth bringing to the team
- 🙋 DESIRED EXPERIENCE CONTENT & GROWTH EXECUTIVE
- A passion for creating content on social media
- Comfortable on camera and confident bringing ideas to a shoot or brief
- Familiar with Meta Ads Manager or similar platforms, ideally, but not essential
- Naturally organised, able to juggle multiple briefs and deadlines without dropping the ball
- Curious about Tik Tok Shop, affiliates and creator culture
- A test and learn mindset, always looking for the next iteration rather than waiting to be told
- Comfortable using AI tools day to day, or keen to learn
- DTC or ecommerce experience is a bonus, but not required
- 🎁 THE PERKS
- Private Medical Care - dental, optical, mental health support & GP access
- Enhanced Parental Leave
- Juno Membership – monthly wellbeing allowance
- £1,500 Learning & Development budget every year
- Cycle to Work & Tech Scheme
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays, plus an extra day for every year you're with us
- Breakfast mornings, team socials & Dock & Bay goodies - Work from anywhere: up to 4 weeks depending on your years of service
- Certified Great Place to Work, Sunday Times Best Places - & London Living Wage employer
