We offer Hybrid Working (featuring all the essentials - fancy drinks fridge, striped walls and furry friends in abundance) alongside remote working from home, depending on business requirements. Don’t know Dock & Bay? You’re missing out, because we’re great (and humble). Here’s a quick intro: Our founders, Andy (Head Poncho) and Ben (Towel Wizard of Oz), started Dock & Bay back in 2015, after sharing the same struggle of standard towels being too bulky for their backpacks while travelling. Fast forward 8 years and Dock & Bay have become a certified B Corp, with over 100 products in 8 categories, selling in the UK, Australia, the US, Canada and Europe. Our mission is to make the world brighter, and we need your help (if you fit the job description, obviously). We are on the list of UK’s Best Places to work in the Retail, Best Places to work for Development, Best Places to work for Women AND officially a Sunday Times Best Places to work so you KNOW we’re going to look after you.
THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
We’re looking for a commercially savvy Amazon Marketplace Manager to take full ownership of our Amazon strategy and performance across all markets (UK, US, AU, CA and EU). Reporting into the Senior eCommerce Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our Amazon listings, ad campaigns, and marketplace growth, with a laser focus on hitting sales targets whilst delivering ROI. From optimising copy and creative to running strategic ad campaigns and tracking performance, you’ll become a vital member of our commercial team. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who’s already owned Amazon marketplace performance across multiple territories, knows the platform inside-out, and is ready to take Dock & Bay’s Amazon channel to new heights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and manage Amazon marketplace performance across all key markets (UK, US, CA, AU, EU), delivering against revenue and ROAS targets.
- Optimise all product listings, ensuring titles, A+ content, keywords and imagery are effective, on-brand, and conversion-focused.
- Build localised strategies tailored to each market, including translated content, region-specific messaging and ad targeting.
- Develop and implement pricing and promotional strategies that drive sales while protecting profitability.
- Lead Amazon advertising activity across all categories using Perpetua, including campaign planning, optimisation and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with the creative team to deliver impactful display ad content that supports campaign goals.
- Define product launch plans for Amazon, deciding which products to launch in which markets and how to fulfil (e.g. FBA vs FBM).
- Monitor competitor activity and potential dupes, escalating IP concerns and supporting brand protection.
- Report on key metrics (revenue, spend, ROAS, ACOS, etc.) and share regular insights and recommendations with the wider team.
- Work closely with the DTC and trade teams to align on business trends, using Amazon to complement broader commercial performance.
- Actively contribute to weekly trade meetings and be a key voice in shaping Amazon growth opportunities.
Desired experience:
- 3–5 years of experience managing Amazon marketplace accounts across multiple countries.
- Strong experience using Helium 10 and Perpetua to deliver performance improvements.
- Proven ability to build marketplace strategies, hit commercial targets and manage advertising spend.
- Strong copywriting skills and understanding of Amazon content best practices.
- Experience working cross-functionally with inventory, operations, creative and DTC teams.
- Commercially minded with the ability to make strategic decisions and act fast.
- Experience working with lifestyle or consumer product brands preferred.
