We offer Hybrid Working alongside remote working from home, depending on business requirements. Our founders started Dock & Bay back in 2015, after sharing the same struggle of standard towels being too bulky for their backpacks while travelling. Following some intense brainstorming, D&B’s quick dry, 100% recycled wonders were born. Fast forward 8 years and Dock & Bay have become a certified B Corp, with over 100 products in 8 categories, selling in the UK, Australia, the US, Canada and Europe. Our mission is to make the world brighter, and we need your help if you fit the job description. We are on the list of UK’s Best Places to work in the Retail, Best Places to work for Development, Best Places to work for Women AND officially a Sunday Times Best Places to work.

THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Reporting into the Head of Wholesale, the Tier 1 & Tier 2 Wholesale Account Manager owns the growth, retention, and development of Dock & Bay’s Tier 1 and Tier 2 wholesale accounts. This role is responsible for both expanding existing Tier 1 & Tier 2 relationships and selectively acquiring new accounts aligned to Dock & Bay’s ICP, turning qualified pipeline into predictable PO revenue. The focus is on building depth and consistency: growing accounts through range, frequency, and store count, and progressing Tier 2 accounts toward Tier 1 status via structured account development. Working closely with the Key Account Manager, Lead Generation, Marketing, and Operations teams, the Tier 1 & 2 Sales Manager ensures strong sales execution, accurate forecasting, and margin discipline. This role plays a key part in building a scalable, sustainable wholesale engine as Dock & Bay continues to grow globally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and grow a portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 wholesale accounts, driving repeat revenue and long‑term partnerships.
  • Actively prospect and acquire new Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts aligned to Dock & Bay’s ideal customer profile.
  • Develop and execute account plans focused on range expansion, seasonal buying (SS/AW), store growth, and reorder cadence.
  • Manage opportunities end‑to‑end, from qualified lead through to PO received and operational handover.
  • Own quarterly forecasting for Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and alignment with delivery timelines.
  • Maintain strong pipeline and CRM discipline in HubSpot, with clear deal stages, close dates, and next steps.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth execution, forecasting alignment, and delivery planning.
  • Attend relevant trade shows and industry events to strengthen existing relationships and qualify new Tier 2 prospects.
  • Ensure all leads and opportunities are accurately captured and progressed following events.

Desired experience:

  • 4 - 7 years’ experience in wholesale or B2B sales, ideally within lifestyle, retail, or consumer goods brands.
  • Proven experience managing and growing mid‑tier wholesale accounts with measurable revenue impact.
  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to balance growth, forecasting accuracy, and margin discipline.
  • Confident working cross‑functionally with Marketing, Ops, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Highly organised, process‑driven, and comfortable operating in CRM‑led sales environments (HubSpot preferred).
  • Commercially curious, proactive, and motivated to build long‑term account value rather than chase short‑term wins.
