About This Opportunity:
The EMEA Proposal Specialist supports the evaluation, response, and project management of RFP/I/Qs for Docebo’s EMEA Sales Team. You are eager to discover the world of proposal writing in an AI-first company and are curious about the upcoming trends and developments in this field.
As the ideal candidate, you’ll interact and collaborate with an international team, embracing diversity and showcasing your exceptional communication skills, particularly in writing. You are adaptable and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; you’ve got a sense of urgency but can focus on the granular level details. You are obsessed with organisation and high quality. While your main stage is the French market, your fluency in Italian and English makes you a versatile and valuable player. You are able to support a dedicated sales team while also remaining a highly collaborative team player within the larger global proposal writing department.
You will:- Support a global sales organisation by managing the complete lifecycle of a proposal response from intake of the RFP through to submission.
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Marketing, and SMEs (Presales Solution Consulting & Architecture, SA, Security & Compliance) and operate with outstanding synchronisation.
- Facilitate opportunity qualification calls/meetings, strategy calls, and regular status updates of RFP funnel.
- Create and distribute project outlines (Responsibility Matrix) that break out RFP requirements into section assignments for project team members for completion.
- Perform writing, editing, proofreading, customising, and formatting to ensure proposal responses are clear, concise and well-presented.
- Help the team maintain and update a global RFP knowledge base, to increase the efficiency of the proposal process and share your knowledge with the entire organisation.
- Work cross-functionally with SMEs within the organisation to create responses for proposals while maintaining a technical understanding of the company’s products and service offerings.
- Review, edit, and provide guidance on the creation of cover letters, executive summaries, value propositions and other key components of proposals.
- Support all activities related to the assembly, production, and logistics of the final proposal.
- Have a deep understanding of our customer’s needs, and help us translate our capabilities into a story that earns their business.
- Complete ongoing training and education credits as they relate to your role.
- 2+ years’ experience technical sales experience in bid/proposal development, or related role.
- Must be fluent reading and writing in French, English, and Italian.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI in your daily workflow.
- Experience working in Pre-Sales or technical writing.
- Exceptional prioritisation, organisation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing and business development best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and experience of the L&D/SaaS industry and its surrounding standards will be a plus.
