  • Partner closely with Legal and HR to navigate complex involuntary terminations, redundancy pay, and the intricacies of the French solde de tout compte.
  • Maintain forensic-level data integrity for GDPR compliance while reconciling internal records with external providers for ESPP, pensions, and medical insurance.
  • Team up with Finance during month-end close to provide detailed GL files and variance analysis that tell the true story of our labor cost fluctuations.

How to prepare for a job interview at Docebo

Know Your Payroll Stuff

Make sure you brush up on your knowledge of UK and French payroll regulations. Be ready to discuss specific compliance issues, like pension auto-enrolment and social charges, as this will show that you’re not just a numbers person but a strategic thinker who understands the local nuances.

Master the Tech

Familiarise yourself with Dayforce and other HRIS systems. If you can demonstrate your tech-savviness during the interview, it’ll give you an edge. Maybe even prepare a few examples of how you've optimised payroll processes in the past using technology.

Communicate Clearly

Practice explaining complex payroll concepts in simple terms. You might be asked to clarify something tricky, so being able to break it down for someone without a payroll background will showcase your communication skills and your ability to support employees effectively.

Show Your Collaborative Spirit

Be prepared to discuss how you’ve worked with other departments, like Legal and HR, to navigate payroll challenges. Highlighting your teamwork skills will resonate well, especially since collaboration is key at Docebo. Share specific examples where you’ve bridged gaps between teams.
