About the Opportunity: As our Data Privacy & Product Counsel, you are the guardian of trust and the architect of compliant innovation. The Day-to-Day:
- Architect Privacy Strategy: Lead the charge in developing and executing Docebo’s global privacy and data protection strategy, ensuring privacy-by-design is a fundamental part of the product lifecycle.
- Navigate the Regulatory Map: Monitor and interpret complex global laws like GDPR and CCPA, translating them into clear, actionable roadmaps for our Product and Engineering squads.
- Scale the Program: Drive the evolution of our privacy program by managing DPIAs, data subject rights, and implementing sophisticated data protection controls.
- Champion Product Innovation: Provide real-time, risk-based guidance on data collection and new feature development to help our teams ship world-class tools safely.
- Negotiate with Impact: Review and refine data protection terms in customer and vendor agreements, acting as the bridge between legal requirements and SaaS business goals.
- Shield the Organization: Partner with Security teams to provide legal leadership during incident response and manage notification obligations with precision.
- Cultivate Knowledge: Design and deliver engaging training sessions that turn privacy awareness into a shared superpower across the entire company.
