A Bit About Us

We’re Doccla, and we’re redefining where and how healthcare is delivered. Our Virtual Ward and Remote Monitoring Solutions enable hospitals and health systems to care for patients at home. We support patients across the full care journey from early discharge and acute recovery to long-term condition management and proactive care. We provide everything clinicians need to deliver safe, effective Virtual Care: medical-grade devices, logistics, patient onboarding, EHR integration, and an end-to-end clinical platform built around real-world workflows. We currently work with over 60% of NHS ICBs and support health systems across the UK, Ireland, France, and the DACH region to reduce hospital pressure, improve outcomes, and create a more resilient model of care.

Why Join Us?

This is your chance to join Doccla at a key stage in our growth. We’re building the category leader in Virtual Care and Remote Patient Monitoring. You’ll be part of a highly entrepreneurial, mission-driven team that combines expertise across clinical, technical, commercial, and operational domains. We’re solving real problems for patients and health systems and growing fast.

What You’ll Do as a Technical Programme Manager

This role is a critical programme management function within Doccla's Integrations team, responsible for keeping our growing portfolio of technical integrations on track from first conversation through to live, BAU-ready delivery.

  • The bulk of your time will be spent programme managing new integrations end-to-end from discovery through to BAU handover, owning timelines, scope, dependencies, and stakeholder communication throughout.
  • Leading customer and vendor engagement for integrations acting as the primary point of contact for NHS trusts, health systems, and EHR vendors, translating technical complexity into clear, confident communication.
  • Driving requirements clarity and prioritisation ensuring engineers always have well-defined, unambiguous work to build against, and that nothing gets lost between a customer conversation and a Jira ticket.
  • Collaborating closely with the Product team flagging where new integrations have implications for product scope, user experience, or platform architecture, and ensuring those decisions get made at the right level rather than falling through the cracks.
  • Owning and continuously improving integration processes and documentation setting the standard for how we deliver and hand over integrations at scale.
  • Managing a broad integration portfolio actively running 3–5 concurrent integrations while keeping a wider portfolio of programmes tracked, visible, and unstuck.
  • Getting hands-on where needed supporting testing, troubleshooting, and ad-hoc problem-solving to keep programmes moving.
  • Leading high-priority internal Tech initiatives beyond integrations, you’ll take ownership of the most strategically important projects within the Tech org, helping to transform how we work and driving meaningful internal impact.

What Experience You’ll Bring To The Team

  • Minimum 3 years as a Technical Programme Manager or Delivery Manager, working directly with engineers and external customers.
  • A track record of getting up to speed quickly in highly technical domains; in Doccla terms this means that you’re comfortable reading API specs, can hold your own in a conversation about HL7/FHIR or network configurations, and know how to ask the right questions when you don’t know the answer.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects as part of a broader programme of work; comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing start-up or scale-up environment, where process is still being built and ownership is expected.
  • Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers or external system vendors managing expectations, navigating complexity, and keeping relationships on track.
  • Healthcare integrations experience is a plus but not a requirement; a genuine appetite to learn the domain is what matters.

What We’re Looking For

  • A highly self-aware, driven individual with a genuine desire to learn and keep improving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; equally comfortable in a technical deep-dive with engineers and a progress update with a Trust’s IT director.
  • Strong programme and project management fundamentals; you know how to structure work, surface dependencies early, and keep things moving without needing to be chased.
  • A pragmatic completer-finisher; you care about getting things across the line and aren’t too precious to get your hands dirty to make that happen.
  • Fluent in the tools of the trade (e.g. Jira, Confluence) and proactive in leveraging AI tools (e.g. Claude) to work smarter and share that with the team.
  • Someone who thrives with direct access and visibility; this role reports to the CPO and requires the maturity and judgment that comes with that.

Skills & Attributes

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; willing to learn, adapt, and help build the plane while flying it.
  • Proactive and action-oriented; you don’t wait to be told; you identify problems and move on them.
  • High integrity with a strong commitment to patient safety and ethical practices.
  • Naturally collaborative; you default to openness, bring people with you, and know when to elevate.
  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Resilient under pressure; integrations are complex, customers are demanding, and timelines slip; you stay calm and keep the programme moving.
