What You’ll Do as a Staff Mobile Engineer
- This role is a vital connection point between the customer and the integration team.
- The bulk of your time will be spent driving excellence in the mobile development team.
- Leading on new features in the Enrol team.
- Mentoring and upskilling other developers.
- Running the mobile development horizontal ‘co-op’.
- Ensuring stakeholders are always up to date and informed on any relevant information regarding the mobile space.
What Experience You’ll Bring to the Team
- Extensive professional experience as a Mobile Engineer using React Native, with a track record of successfully leading projects and delivering high-quality, production-ready applications.
- Experience testing and deploying production Mobile applications.
- Experience collaborating with other members of the engineering team on engineering-wide projects.
- Proven experience integrating mobile apps with physical devices via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or other wireless protocols in a production environment.
- Experience operating as a Senior Engineer or technical lead, driving technical direction, and collaborating closely with other team members.
- Demonstrated ability to "own it" - taking initiative, driving tasks to completion, and resolving complex technical challenges independently but in close collaboration with peers.
- Experience working in a ‘vertical’ team with cross-functional peers, while owning the running of a horizontal ‘co-op’ of Mobile developer peers.

How We Work

We’re a hybrid team, with offices in London, Denmark, Germany, and Stockholm. Most of our team is London-based and enjoys in-person time at our WeWork HQ 1–3 days per week, where you’ll find great lunch, barista coffee, and a pet-friendly space. Some roles are fully remote, depending on the team and responsibilities.
