  • Bid Coordination and Tender Support: The Business Development Executive will manage the day-to-day coordination of tender opportunities. This will include logging new opportunities, assigning bid owners, setting up timelines, tracking key milestones and ensuring submissions are completed in line with client requirements and deadlines. The role will involve reviewing tender documentation to ensure compliance, checking that mandatory requirements are met and that all supporting documents are included prior to submission. The Business Development Executive will also manage tender portals, register interest in new opportunities and assist with the completion of pre-qualification questionnaires and supporting documentation.
  • Bid Library Management: The Business Development Executive will take ownership of the bid content library, ensuring documents are current, well-organised and version-controlled within MyTender. This will include extracting reusable responses, case studies and supporting evidence from previous submissions and maintaining a structured and accessible knowledge base. The role will support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen standard responses and solution templates.
  • CRM Management and Pipeline Support: The Business Development Executive will maintain accurate records within the company CRM platform, Monday.com, ensuring all opportunities are logged and updated. This includes tracking stages of the sales cycle, following up on open opportunities, highlighting approaching deadlines and keeping relevant colleagues informed of progress. The role will also encompass account-based marketing. The Business Development Executive will create email marketing templates for prospective and existing clients using Monday.com’s ‘Campaigns’ feature. The role will support reporting and forecasting by ensuring pipeline data is reliable and up to date.
  • Solution Design and Content Support: The Business Development Executive will assist in developing and maintaining sector specific solution templates. Working with operational, commercial and marketing colleagues, the role will help document key themes, methodologies and service delivery approaches for each sector. The Business Development Executive will support the drafting and formatting of tender responses, ensuring content is clear, structured and aligned with the company’s tone of voice.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in an administrative, sales support or bid support role
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to structure clear responses
  • Familiarity using CRM systems and document management platforms
  • Confidence working with Microsoft Office and formatting documents
  • An interest in business development, sales or bid management
  • Experience within facilities management or commercial cleaning would be advantageous but not essential
