Salary: £35,000 DOE

Our client, a well-established and growing supplier to the UK fashion retail market, is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to join their team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Merchandiser, Assistant Import Merchandiser or Product Administrator looking to progress into a more commercial, customer-facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of major retail accounts and in-house product ranges.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Manage critical paths, sample development and purchase orders.
  • Assist with customer meetings, product reviews and sales analysis.
  • Produce reports, maintain trackers and ensure accurate product data.
  • Support day-to-day account administration and account performance reviews.

Experience needed (must haves):

  • Recent experience within fashion merchandising, import merchandising, product administration or a similar role within a UK menswear high street supplier or UK high street retailer.
  • Strong commercial awareness and passion for product.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident using Excel and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Positive, proactive and keen to develop your career.
  • Commutable to Manchester and eligible to work in the UK.
