An exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic Risk Team within a transatlantic law firm. This role will play a key part in supporting the firm’s new business intake and conflicts function, with a strong focus on ABA conflicts analysis alongside SRA regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Analysing complex conflicts issues
- Supporting conflict resolution
- Drafting waivers and engagement documentation
- Advising stakeholders on ABA and SRA rules
- Acting as a key liaison between UK Partners and the US Conflicts team
- Supporting the development and training of junior team members
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience handling ABA conflicts within a law firm or corporate environment
- Strong understanding of SRA and ABA conflicts rules
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience reviewing complex conflicts issues and drafting waivers/consents
- Proficiency in Intapp preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
