With a history of over 40 years and a UK workforce of over 300, our client is a well-established Womenswear high street supplier who focuses on woven products. They have diversified into brands and retail too, so aren’t a one trick pony. It’s time they opened a new revenue stream and are looking for a well-connected Sales Manager to join the team to open doors with the supermarkets. You will also be managing some smaller clients while targeting the buyers you are already doing business with or have done business with recently, so you won’t be fully focused on Business Development. With a solid design team, production, and manufacturing network throughout Europe, China, India, and Bangladesh, and already supplying to the likes of ASOS, BooHoo, New Look, TK Maxx, and others, they have extensive products that the supermarkets will be interested in.

MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED:

  • Recent experience as a Sales Manager with a womenswear high street clothing supplier in the UK working recently with key UK supermarkets.
  • Track record of delivery, upselling, and relationship building.
  • Knowledge of woven products.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Confident, eager, and hungry.
  • Strong ability to develop and implement sales strategies, interpret sales data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
