Graphic Design Assistant

Location: London | Hybrid Working (1 Day per Week WFH) | Salary - Up to £30,000 + Bens + Bonus

Are you a creative and highly organised fashion clothing Graphic Design Assistant looking to kick-start or further develop your career and interested in the exciting world of sports, streetwear and lifestyle fashion? My client, a growing global business with strong links to the sports and streetwear sector, is seeking a talented Graphic Design Assistant to join their dynamic design team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for fashion, sport, graphics and product development who wants to gain hands-on experience across the full design process.

The Role

  • Working closely with the design teams, you will support the creation and development of products from initial concept through to production, while ensuring all design assets and samples are managed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining design boards and presentation materials
  • Conducting design research and developing trend-focused mood boards
  • Assisting with the creation of technical packs, specifications and product documentation
  • Supporting the development of product briefs and SKU management
  • Designing CADs and product mock-ups
  • Managing design assets and artwork libraries
  • Coordinating and tracking product samples
  • Supporting design and development processes across multiple product categories
  • Creating digital assets, including Amazon storefront banners and marketplace graphics
  • Assisting with Point of Sale (POS) material design where required
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule

About You

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Product Design or a related field
  • Already a commercial grounding in fashion clothing, we see this as perhaps a second jobber
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience creating CADs, technical drawings and presentation materials
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • An interest in sports, streetwear, fashion or consumer products
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Commutable to London and eligible to work in the UK (relocation isn't recommended at this level)
