An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Corporate Partner to join a highly regarded boutique commercial law firm in Liverpool. This role would suit an experienced Corporate Partner or senior Corporate Solicitor with a strong client following who is seeking a genuine platform for growth, autonomy and future progression to equity partnership. The firm has built an excellent reputation for delivering commercially focused, partner-led advice to SMEs, owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and investors across a broad range of sectors. Due to continued growth and strategic expansion, the firm is now looking to further strengthen its Corporate offering with the appointment of a dynamic senior lawyer.
The Role
You will lead on a broad range of high-quality corporate matters, including:
- Mergers, acquisitions, disposals, MBOs, MBIs, JVs and strategic collaborations
- Private equity investment transactions and banking and finance matters including secured lending and structured debt
- Company restructures and reorganisations
- Shareholder and investment agreements
- Shareholder disputes and director exits
- Employee share option and incentivisation schemes and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs)
- Corporate governance and directors’ duties
- Strategic business growth and exit planning
- LLP and partnership structures
- Commercial contracts and terms & conditions
The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued growth and development of the department and will have the opportunity to help shape the future direction of the firm’s Corporate practice.
