A leading UK law firm with a nationally recognised social housing practice is looking to recruit an experienced Housing Management & Property Litigation Lawyer to join its growing London team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly regarded team acting for registered providers, local authorities, private landlords, developers and care providers across England and Wales.

The Role

  • You’ll manage your own varied caseload covering:
    • Possession proceedings
    • Injunctions and ASB matters
    • Housing disrepair claims
    • Property litigation
    • Housing management advisory work and policy advice
  • You’ll also support senior lawyers on complex matters, supervise junior team members and play an active role in client relationships, training and business development.

About You

  • You will be:
    • A Solicitor, FCILEx (with Civil Litigation Practice Rights) or Barrister
    • 3+ years PQE with experience in housing management and/or property litigation
    • Confident running your own caseload
    • Commercially aware and client-focused
    • Organised, proactive and resilient under pressure
    • A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
    • Experience supervising junior staff or paralegals would be advantageous.
