We’re looking for a motivated Paralegal to join a leading Housing Management & Property Litigation team at a large national law firm in its Leeds office. Working alongside experienced Solicitors and Partners, you’ll support a broad range of housing and property litigation matters while developing your own caseload. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest specialist teams in England & Wales, acting for Registered Providers, landlords, developers, charities and local authorities.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour matters, injunctions, disrepair claims and leaseholder disputes
- Draft legal documents, pleadings and witness statements
- Attend Court and assist Barristers and fee earners
- Conduct advocacy on routine County Court matters
- Manage deadlines and maintain accurate case files
- Build strong client relationships and deliver excellent service
What we’re looking for:
- A degree in law or a related subject
- Strong communication, organisation and drafting skills
- Ability to manage a busy workload and work to deadlines
- Enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach
- Housing Management or Property Litigation experience is desirable but not essential. LPC/SQE studies or relevant legal experience would be an advantage.
