The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving new business opportunities, building and maintaining introducer relationships, and contributing to the growth of the lending book.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow the business loan portfolio.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with brokers and introducers across the UK.
- Work closely with senior leadership to identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities.
- Originate and execute finance transactions, assessing security and recommending suitable lending terms.
- Deliver exceptional relationship management and customer service throughout the lending process.
- Stay informed of market developments and competitor activity to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within the bridging finance or specialist property lending sector.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Proactive, commercially minded, and able to work consultatively with clients and stakeholders.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally as required.
