An exciting opportunity has come up with our client who is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of sports-focused clothing with connections to big sportswear brands like Nike. They are looking for a well-versed, connected and passionate Account / Sales Manager to manage and maximise key accounts with major high street sportswear retailers. The role involves working closely with customers to maximise sales and grow relationships.

DUTIES:

  • Continue and create strong relationships with multiple buyers at retailers
  • Build a solid pipeline to forecast and develop sales with existing retailers and new opportunities
  • Maintain and grow sales volumes and product mix by keeping in step with supply and demand, changing trends and economic indicators
  • Ability to identify and solve retail customer issues
  • Work across the business including operations and logistics teams to implement the sales strategy and growth plans

MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED:

  • Solid and recent experience in sports product or sportswear selling wholesale to retailers, with a proven track record of driven revenue growth in a fast-paced business
  • Proficient at producing data and building reports to make recommendations
  • Able to multitask, manage a “business within a business” and work to deadlines
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Passionate about sports
  • Happy to travel across the country to present to retail buyers
  • Eligible to work in the UK
