An established fashion design and manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Account Manager to manage and grow key childrenswear accounts. This is a client-facing, commercially focused role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced supplier environment and enjoys owning accounts from initial brief through to bulk delivery.
The Role
As Senior Account Manager, you will take full ownership of several key customer relationships, acting as the main point of contact from concept to delivery. You will translate customer briefs into clear commercial actions, working closely with internal teams and the supply base to ensure ranges are delivered on time, on cost, and to margin.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary contact for key retail and e-commerce customer accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and merchandisers to drive repeat business
- Manage the end-to-end order process, from initial concept and costing through to delivery
- Brief design and development teams on customer requirements and seasonal direction
- Present ranges and samples to customers, ensuring they are commercially viable and trend-relevant
- Manage critical paths, coordinating with factories, QA, logistics, and technical teams
- Oversee lab dips, strike-offs, bulk submissions and approvals
- Attend and lead buyer meetings and customer presentations
- Use PLM systems and manage associated administration
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
- Support onboarding of new customers and attend trade shows or client visits when required
- Work closely with merchandising and production teams to achieve margin targets
ABOUT YOU
- Solid and recent experience in a childrenswear account management role within a fashion high street supplier
- Track record of buyer meetings and upselling
- Good knowledge of garment development, costings, critical path management and retail calendars
- Confident managing multiple accounts and stakeholders simultaneously
- Commercially focused with the ability to translate trends into sellable product
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Commutable to London and Eligible to work in the UK
