The Role
- We’re searching for a Senior Womenswear Garment Technologist to take the lead across tailoring, outerwear, and structured product categories.
- You’ll work closely with design, buying, and supply partners to ensure every garment meets the highest standards of fit, construction, and brand DNA.
Key Responsibilities
- Help lead technical development across womenswear tailoring and outerwear.
- Manage fit sessions, providing confident direction and technical solutions.
- Oversee sealing process from proto to production.
- Collaborate with design and buying to maintain brand handwriting and quality.
- Work closely with UK and offshore suppliers to resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance and testing standards are met across all products.
- Drive continuous improvement in construction, fit, and garment performance.
About You - To be successful, you must have the below experience:
- Recent experience as a womenswear Senior Garment Technologist with a UK premium retailer or brand.
- Extensive womenswear expertise, specifically in tailoring and outerwear.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction, pattern cutting, and fit.
- Confidence leading fit sessions and influencing cross‑functional teams.
- A solutions‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with global supply bases.
- London based and eligible to work in the UK long term.
