Well established, market leading and renowned high street womenswear and menswear supplier who focus on fast fashion with a number of household retailers is looking to add a Junior Wholesale Merchandiser to the team due to an upturn in business.
THE ROLE:
As a Junior Wholesale Merchandiser, you will assist the Wholesale Merchandise and Account management teams ensuring smooth day-to-day operations with the retailers, focusing on delivering exceptional service. You’ll play a crucial role in effective critical path management with retailers and factories (Far East and European), dealing with purchase orders and general admin to keep the process in tip-top shape.
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED:
- Recent and solid experience in high street clothing supplier as a Wholesale Merchandiser or Production Assistant within a UK high street supplier
- Proven track record in Critical Path management, Purchase Orders and factory liaison
- Excellent attention to detail
- First class communication skills (English written and verbal)
- Eligible to work in the UK and able to commute to Central London
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing Critical paths and issuing Purchase orders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Factories and internal teams
- Help oversee and manage the full critical path, from order placement through to delivery
- Ensure all deadlines and delivery schedules are met
