A premium fashion retailer is seeking a Senior Product Developer – Menswear to join its Production team and help shape future collections through exceptional sourcing, product development, and supplier management.
About the Role
As Senior Product Developer, you’ll take the lead on driving the sourcing and product development strategy for Menswear with a focus on Shirts, Outerwear and Accessories. You'll be working closely with Design, Merchandising, Buying, and Technical teams, managing the end‑to‑end critical path, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and ensuring all products meet margin targets while staying true to the creative vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product pricing, ensuring all styles achieve target margins while maintaining design integrity.
- Drive supplier selection and oversee cost negotiations, ensuring detailed costings and price engineering are delivered.
- Strengthen supplier relationships through proactive communication, business reviews, factory visits, and fabric fair attendance.
- Conduct regular supplier appraisals and implement corrective action plans.
- Cross‑cost styles to optimise product placement and sourcing efficiency.
- Partner with the fabric team to negotiate raw material pricing and secure the best fabric costs.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop innovative seasonal ranges.
- Issue development specs to suppliers and manage sample tracking for seasonal buy meetings.
- Negotiate delivery dates in line with merchandising and production timelines.
- Attend fit sessions and ensure technical or cost‑impacting changes are communicated effectively.

- Strong experience in Costings.
- Strong understanding of the product critical path.
- Team player, highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

- Commutable to London and eligible to work in the UK.
