Senior Financial Controller
Liverpool (Hybrid) | £75,000-£85,000
We have an exciting opportunity to join an established professional services business at a pivotal stage of growth and transformation.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll lead the day-to-day finance function, strengthen controls, develop the team and play a central role in implementing a new business management system.
This isn't a traditional, month-end-focused role. We're looking for an improvement-led finance leader who can modernise processes, increase automation and build a scalable, technology-enabled function.
The opportunity
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Own financial control, management accounts and audit readiness
- Improve processes, reporting and data quality
- Support a major systems implementation
- Strengthen cash flow, working capital and debt management
- Introduce greater structure, accountability and efficiency
About you
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experienced Financial Controller, Senior Financial Controller or Head of Finance
- Expertise in the Professional Services sector
- Strong controls, governance and compliance background
- Proven team leadership and development experience
- Track record of improving finance processes
- Confident supporting systems implementation and business change
- Pragmatic, commercially aware and comfortable driving change
