A leading and growing Manchester-based fashion womenswear supplier is seeking a Junior Womenswear Fashion Designer to join their dynamic and fast-paced womenswear design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded womenswear high street designer who loves high street trend-led fashion and wants to grow within a supportive, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design on trend high street womenswear for a number of high street retailers in a growing team
  • Research trends and contribute fresh, forward-thinking design ideas
  • Create mood boards, CAD designs and develop themed ranges
  • Work closely with design, sales, buying and production teams
  • Support sampling, fabric/trim selection and prototype development
  • Assist in organising samples and maintaining showroom newness

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous and recent experience as womenswear designer of high street fashion, must be young fashion though and grounded
  • Strong CAD skills and a great eye for fabrics, colour and print
  • Creativity, commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills
  • Manchester based and eligible to work in the UK
