A fast-growing specialist finance provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support the continued expansion of its lending portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious organisation operating in a dynamic and competitive market, with plans for significant growth over the coming years.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving new business opportunities, building and maintaining introducer relationships, and contributing to the growth of the lending book.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow the business loan portfolio.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with brokers and introducers across the UK.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Originate and execute finance transactions, assessing security and recommending suitable lending terms.
  • Deliver exceptional relationship management and customer service throughout the lending process.
  • Stay informed of market developments and competitor activity to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within the bridging finance or specialist property lending sector.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and able to work consultatively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally as required.

Pay range and compensation package

Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience). Attractive commission structure. Opportunity to join a growing and ambitious lender at an exciting stage of its development. National role with access to a UK head office location.
