Responsibilities

  • Deliver inspirational gardening standards through excellent standards and service.
  • Drive sales through customer interactions while promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership.
  • Offer a helping hand with customer queries through high-quality product knowledge including indoor and outdoor plants, machinery and core gardening.
  • Work with your team to ensure the department is kept to a high standard.
  • Work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, which may include working stock, cash handling, till work, take-to-car deliveries, stock control routines, restaurant service – an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience.
  • Show a passion for delivering a great customer experience, serving everyone with a smile.

  • Experience within a customer-facing role and a passion for plants.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects to support larger store projects.
  • Team player who builds relationships, celebrates success and enjoys having fun in a fast-paced environment.
  • Timely arrival, well presented and demonstrates a can-do, hard-working attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and gain new experiences.
