We have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team based in our Central Support Office in Lasswade. This is a customer focussed role that predominantly supports Dobbies restaurants and foodhalls, in conjunction with wider marketing teams, to deliver first class marketing communications across the full marketing mix, that are on brand, drive footfall and deliver a great customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement stand-out customer messaging and communications for our restaurants, coffee shops, soft plays, and foodhalls.
- Produce clear and concise briefing documents, supplier guidelines and store communication for all marketing campaigns, print point of sale and packaging.
- Brief and liaise with our in-house Studio and external agencies to produce marketing materials across a range of channels including (but not exclusively) print, point of sale, digital screens, emails, social and packaging.
- Work with the Head of Campaigns & In-Store Communications to forward plan marketing campaigns and develop the messaging and assets required to deliver these.
- Support on new menu launches and initiatives alongside the wider restaurant team, both on development and execution, including seasonal menu changes, food shows and trade driving promotions.
- Develop trade driving opportunities with key third parties to reach wider audiences.
- Understand current customer trends & insights and brief any new insights required to the customer insights & research team.
- Brief key content creation including lifestyle photography, video content, for use across multiple channels.
- Plan and maintain the company trade plan in line with key commercial messages and marketing campaigns to ensure fully integrated multi-channel campaigns.
- Support the PR function with messaging, content and assets as required.
- Support the Operations function with back of house print, digital screens or point of sale for team initiatives.
- Maintain and update the photography management system (WebDam).
- Manage the creative and print sign off process as well as budget tracking, sign off and raising of Purchase Orders.
- Act as brand guardian, ensuring that brand guidelines and tone of voice are adhered to across all work.

- Working knowledge of packaging (desirable not essential).
