New children’s publisher Do Re Mi is looking for a marketing manager to work across their entire range, from picture books and board books to fiction. Do Re Mi launches this month with playful, distinctive books that celebrate the best in contemporary illustration. Founded by husband-and-wife team Sam Voulters and Anna Watanabe, Do Re Mi is inspired by cute, weird and funny stories, and the charm and creativity of Japanese children’s publishing. With fourteen books scheduled for this year, the list includes translations of existing Japanese and Korean titles, as well as lots of originals from exciting illustrators around the world.
Do Re Mi is looking for a marketer who understands the children’s publishing landscape and has a track record of successful campaigns. The successful candidate will be highly commercial, have impeccable taste and take children’s books extremely seriously.
