Job Description

Conduct daily task as outlined by the QA Supervisor and Manager

Review and verify daily quality checks of goods delivered by our suppliers.

In charge of checking all chillers and dry stores within the production and warehouse, this includes, FIFO, batch codes, expiry dates, allergen segregation.

Perform a number of audits across the different areas of the kitchen/operation, making sure that all paperwork is kept up to date, temperature controls have been performed regularly and recorded, verify that all areas comply with cleanliness levels, double check personal hygiene of the members of this areas – Veg preparation, butchers, pot wash.

Support the wider QA events international team in diverse locations across the world when is necessary.

Supervise that all members of the production follow internal safety rules with the aim of avoid future incidents

Submitted daily reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor about any incidents, issues and solutions plus general information about the daily production development.

Qualifications

Role model ability, leading a team, ready to roll up your sleeves and do what is needed to provide the best service with a problem-solving mentality

Passion for high-end cuisine, love for food and motivation to deliver exceptional service

Well presented, professional individual with a can-do, positive attitude that indulges in team success

The ability to be a positive change champion for DO & CO, identifying key impact areas and priorities and supporting change programmes and strategies

Meticulous attention to detail and data driven with the ability to influence different departments to suggest, implement and track DO & CO standards

Build strong relationships with colleagues, mentoring and motivating, creating a team spirit, encouraging them to be at their best

You are a clear and engaging communicator, strong written and verbal English, and will use a variety of methods to keep the team well informed

Flexible in the way you think, making decisions efficiently and handling change to ensure everything we do is right for our partners and the DO & CO family

Have a great understanding and working knowledge of your department and be the expert in delivering practical actions for its improvement by taking a hands-on approach

BSc Food Science or experience in a similar role

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office package with excellent working knowledge of reporting and managing data
