The role of Flight Coordinator Supervisor is to ensure that we deliver a safe and high quality, customer-focused operation on a day-to-day basis through role-modelling behaviours and best practice.
You will be responsible for the supervision and support of Flight Coordinators including, but not limited to, resource allocation, vehicle management, service standards, safety, and investigation into incidents and any delays.
Following a shift pattern, you will be based in the airside office and mobile across the airport terminal.
You will be adaptable to suit the needs of the daily operation, driving best standards and troubleshooting where necessary.
This might include functioning as a Flight Coordinator if needed.
You will also support and deputise for the Airside Manager as/when required.
- Being a role model to ensure the exceptional DO & CO quality is delivered on time with maximum efficiency in accordance with customer requirements
- Supervising day-to-day activities ensuring the most optimal resource allocation
- Driving our safety standards, including adherence to PPE
- Troubleshooting problems in a proactive fashion
- Leading and contributing to delay and/or service failure investigations
- Working closely with Transport and Dispatch departments on a number of areas
- Representing DO & CO on a daily basis with all external/internal communication with our customers.
- Support, and deputise for, the Airside Manager
- Ensuring operations adhere to all SOP’s and ALL relevant Critical Control Points, Health and Safety, Food safety and all legal requirements
- Act as the primary escalation point for any issues
- Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with all section managers, ensuring the provision of a positive and professional service that elevates the DO & CO reputation and any highlighted problems have an implemented solution
- Driving success by proactively managing team performance
- Proactively taking steps to ensure own skills and knowledge continue to improve in all aspects including technical and leadership
