We are looking for a Learning and Development Coordinator to support the delivery of all learning needs for the business via our Learning Management System (LMS). This role is responsible for delivering and embedding high-quality, engaging learning solutions and acting as an ambassador for DO & CO across all teams. The position also supports the learning and development elements of the HR agenda, contributing to the people strategy and championing people innovation.
What you will be doing:
- Delivering quality and engaging learning solutions including induction courses, workshops development, apprenticeships, and talent programmes where appropriate.
- Support the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing management of learning and development systems and processes, ensuring effective delivery, accessibility, and continuous improvement of learning across the business.
- Utilise our Learning Management System (LMS) to effectively organise learners for their required courses, as well as monitor, track, and report on training completion and recurrent training as needed.
- Providing learning expertise and support to our operations team in a professional and commercial way; whilst always driving the culture, vision and values of DO & CO.
- Support the design, development and implementation of learning across the unit, including new tools, technology, process, product, cross skilling, soft-skills, behaviours and mind-sets.
- Work with the leadership team to support their capability for leading change.
- Complete training needs analysis and review and recommend training to address legislative/regulatory requirements.
- Providing astute partnering on discrete pieces of design and development, ensuring we offer great learning interventions that support the needs of the business.
- Facilitation of measurement and analysis of effectiveness of learning solutions.
- Support the maintenance of a highly engaging and effective L&D group on our internal communications platform and use the tool to positively impact awareness of L&D across the business.
- Support and facilitate our apprenticeship programme and professional development offering.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to impactfully share subject materials to larger groups, face-to-face or video.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 - 4 years of relevant professional experience within Learning and Development.
- Understanding of learning models and Learning Management Systems including content uploads, user enrollment, and reporting.
- Experience producing online training materials is desirable.
- Experience of apprenticeship standards.
- Strong strategic and problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate and influence.
- Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills as well as strong organisational skills and initiative.
- Proficient computer skills - especially Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- You are a clear and engaging communicator, strong written and verbal English, and will use a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
- The ideal candidate will exhibit: an ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner; demonstrated ability to produce results, prioritise and perform a variety of tasks on short notice within demanding deadlines; and proven ability to work under pressure.
