- Leading the lounge chef team and being the face for culinary in our Lounge.
- Monitoring the kitchen area and the staff to ensure standards are maintained.
- Training new lounge employees on the Company Standards and Regulations.
- Monitoring performance of the CDPs and Commis chefs.
- Ensuring all food products are prepared up to the Company Standards.
- Overseeing the Lounge kitchen operations.
- Leading teams and distributing job tasks.
- Communicating with customers and answering all menu queries.
- Keeping the kitchen fully equipped with all the tools and inventory.
- Ensuring that the quality of food is consistently high and that hygiene standards are met and exceeded.
- Being the lead point of contact between our Hub kitchen and Lounge operation.
- Assisting staff with food prep, plating and kitchen orders.
- Creating and distributing shift plans.
- Assisting on menu presentations.
Qualifications
- Passion for food and ability to deliver top-end culinary offerings.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- An ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate your brigade of chefs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Level 2 Food Safety and HACCP.
- Fluent in English, oral & written, with excellent communication skills.
