Job Description
- Strategically and effectively managing the team, ensuring that they are being developed, have direction, and are provided with meaningful feedback
- Ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow that aligns with the daily schedule and ensuring on time flight packing
- Ensuring the quality and the quantity of all packed goods are according to specification and requirements
- Cleaning and correct storing of all equipment to ensure distribution is accurate and in a timely manner- working closely with Dish Room department for even equipment flow
- Managing all work areas, maintaining housekeeping rules, and promoting best working practices
- Reacting quickly and efficiently to last minute flight, aircraft changes, specifications, and requirements
- Understanding of functional and departmental goals as well as overall DO & CO business strategy
- Being a role model and leading a team to ensure the exceptional DO & CO quality is delivered on time with maximum efficiency in accordance with DO & CO standards
- Ensuring operations adhere to all SOP’s and ALL relevant Critical Control Points, Health and Safety, Food safety and all legal requirements at all times
- Defining systems of working to ensure quality of product, problems are resolved with solutions and continuous improvement initiatives are instigated
- Building and maintaining relationships with Airline stores to manage flow of stock and internal ordering if required
- Providing reports on productivity and other performance indicators to management
- Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with all section managers, ensuring the provision of a positive and professional service that elevates the DO & CO reputation and any highlighted problems have an implemented solution
- Driving success by proactively managing team performance, provide development and succession planning opportunities
- Ensuring the effective development, implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures, ensuring they are compliant and consistently applied
- Proactively taking steps to ensure own skills and knowledge continue to improve and are demonstrated in the operations
- Forward, strategic thinking leader always looking to exceed targets and expectations of the unit whilst maintaining the collectiveness of the team and culture of DO & CO (Ensure OTIF performance is maintained)
- Maintaining good working relationships with all DO & CO family members
- Taking responsibility for all your actions, support your team, and celebrate successes as a family
- Should be able to manager Equipment department and take decisions accordingly

- You are a clear and engaging communicator, strong written and verbal English, and will use a variety of methods to keep the team well informed
- Flexible in the way you think, making decisions efficiently and handling change to ensure everything we do is right for our partners and the DO & CO family
- Have a great understanding and working knowledge of the whole unit and be the expert in delivering practical actions for its improvement by taking a hands-on approach
- Previous experience in a similar role or experience within a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in excel with excellent working knowledge of reporting
- Financial awareness - good, strong numerical reasoning ability as precise and accurate reporting is required to Senior Management
- Fast-paced working environment
