Quality Assurance Officer – Fixed Term- Nights, Hounslow Client: DO & CO Airline Catering Location: Hounslow, United Kingdom Job Category: Other EU work permit required: Yes Job Reference: 71c412e21aec Job Views: 5 Posted: 29.06.2025 Expiry Date: 13.08.2025 Job Description Supporting Quality Manager in daily office operations and conducting goods-in tasks as outlined by the QA Supervisor and Manager Carrying out Hygiene Audits, GMP Audits, raising non-conformances, and following up on them Implementing and monitoring PRP, OPRP, and HACCP plans, reporting deviations, and taking corrective actions Verifying HACCP paperwork and ensuring documentation is up to date Monitoring CCPs and temperature records Overseeing traceability systems Supporting airline-specific verification checks in various operational areas Preparing samples for microbiological testing and taste tests Checking chillers and dry stores for FIFO, batch codes, expiry dates, and allergen segregation Verifying personal hygiene of team members in high-risk areas Providing QA reports to support corrective actions and demonstrate food safety and quality measures Training production staff on food safety and quality standards Investigating customer complaints and reporting findings Qualifications Problem-solving mentality with a proactive approach Professional appearance and positive attitude Self-motivated, resilient, adaptable in a fast-paced environment Excellent English skills (written & spoken) Meticulous attention to detail and record-keeping skills Ability to influence and improve processes across departments Strong communication skills in English Decisive, flexible, and capable of handling change Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Right to work in the UK Additional Information We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 per year, a 12-month fixed term contract, and benefits such as free on-site meals, training opportunities, and career development.
