Job Description

• Placing orders for agreed materials and managing stock levels
• Reducing wastage and minimizing over/under stocks in line with company policies
• Managing and stabilizing prices
• Understanding and working with the MRP system to create orders for production materials and plan deliveries
• Managing and developing relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data in the MRP system
• Updating relevant trackers and systems
• Communicating effectively with internal teams
• Developing in-depth knowledge of the material category

Qualifications

• Proficient in all office packages, particularly Excel
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Food Buyer
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational skills
• Confidence and experience in dealing with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external
• Ability to work autonomously in a demanding and fast-paced environment
• Experience in hospitality or food manufacturing
