Our Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Proposals Coordinator to join our dedicated Bid and Proposals Team based in Leicestershire, on a maternity cover basis. You will be responsible for supporting the preparation of proposals for both Government, Public and Private sector clients. You will be an integral member of bid teams, providing end‑to‑end support for Bid Managers and the bid process, to produce and deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality and compliant bid responses.
Your Responsibilities Will Include The Following
- Support the Bid Managers on large value strategically important and complex bids
- Unpick ITT’s, define response requirements and develop bid submission plans to ensure submissions are fully compliant with the tender requirements
- Facilitate and support bid decisions ensuring win themes are communicated clearly to create impactful well‑structured and compelling proposals
- Prepare and manage the bid team schedule, including organising and facilitating progress review meetings
- Collaborate and work closely with members of the wider technical project teams
- Carry out debriefings with clients and internal response teams to learn lessons and implement improvements
- Maintain library of proposal collateral to ensure its accuracy, taking corrective action where appropriate.

About You
- Experience in creating and delivering compelling and successful proposals to support bids/proposal development for Government, Public, and Private Sector clients
- Strategic mindset with strong desire to improve win rate
- Good analytical and commercial skills
- Self‑motivated with the desire to take ownership and make things happen
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, commercial environment
- Focused and resilient with the skill to build strong working relationships & communicate with stakeholders at many different levels within the business and externally
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Preferably a Member of APMP
This role is ideally based in Loughborough, however, we are open to candidates who could work from one of our other key UK offices (Bristol, Stockport, Glasgow, Aberdeen, London).
