DNV Business Assurance is looking for a highly motivated Sales Area Manager to support the business development of Supply Chain Assurance (SCA) services within the General Industries and the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong sales skills, excellent market analysis capabilities, and a strategic mindset. Experience in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry or Auditing firms is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse the General Industries market of the pertinent area to understand trends, general outlook, development opportunities, potential customers, and competitors’ strategy.
- Ensure the achievement of the individual sales targets assigned.
- Responsible for implementing sales actions through the development of prospects and existing key customers.
- Follow up leads and opportunities coming from the different channels.
- Ensure DNV visibility within the General Industries market.
- Ensure strong pipeline management and accurate forecasting to support business planning and target achievement.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining a network of channels in the General Industries market with lead generation activities.
- Take part in local communication actions (external events, tradeshows, conferences, workshops, etc.) organized by the Marcom Department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in auditing services.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in the General Industries market.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Project management skills.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Fluent in English/Italian depending on location (written and spoken).
- Valid EU driving licence.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the region and internationally.
