DNV Business Assurance is looking for a highly motivated Sales Area Manager to support the business development of Supply Chain Assurance (SCA) services within the General Industries and the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong sales skills, excellent market analysis capabilities, and a strategic mindset. Experience in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry or Auditing firms is preferred.* Only applications with previous experience, even if limited, in selling second-party supply chain audit services and managing key clients will be considered.
The position reports to the General Industries Sales Manager Europe β Supply Chain Assurance.
Location:
UK or Italy based (remote working contract)Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze the General Industries market of the pertinent area to understand trends, general outlook, development opportunities, potential customers, and competitors' strategyEnsure the achievement of the individual sales targets assignedResponsible for implementing sales actions through the development of prospects and existing key customersFollow up leads and opportunities coming from the different channelsEnsure DNV visibility within the General Industries marketEnsure strong pipeline management and accurate forecasting to support business planning and target achievementContribute to developing and maintaining a network of channels in the General Industries market with lead generation activitiesTake part in local communication actions (external events, tradeshows, conferences, workshops, etc.) organized by the Marcom Department.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; Master's degree is preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in auditing servicesProven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in the General Industries marketStrong negotiation and relationship management skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesProject management skillsResults-oriented, proactive, and able to work independentlyFluent in English/Italian depending on location (written and spoken)Valid EU driving licenceWillingness and ability to travel within the region and internationallySecurity and compliance with statutory requirements in the countries in which we operate is essential for DNV.
