Overview

In this role you will lead audits under DNV standards, planning and executing third-party certification assessments. You’ll manage customer relationships, stay competent across schemes, and contribute to a high-performing audit team from a home base with UK travel. You will conduct on-site or remote audits, document findings, and ensure objective reporting. This position combines technical auditing with client engagement to uphold independent certification and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Audit planning and execution for management system certification on-site or remotely
  • Produce accurate audit reports noting non-conformities and improvements using an app-based tool
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and reflect certification status in internal systems
  • Engage with customers and audit team members to clarify scope and expectations
  • Support KCM and Sales by sharing feedback and identifying service improvements
  • Maintain qualifications across relevant schemes and fulfil annual witness audits and training
  • Collaborate with Planning, Back Office, Technical and Sales teams to ensure aligned delivery
  • Participate in sector-specific meetings, training, and calibration events
  • Adhere to DNV Code of Conduct and promote quality, sustainability and ethics
  • Monitor evolving customer needs, food risks, and regulatory changes impacting audits
  • Contribute to market positioning and expanding DNV Business Assurance portfolio
