Do you want to take a leading role within the Electrical, Process and Safety segment and be part of our team delivering world-class services in advisory, verification, and technology development projects to the energy sector? The DNV Electrical Process and Safety team is seeking to strengthen our management team with a Team Leader in our Groningen office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of 4 employees in Groningen, focusing on team expansion. Foster a high-performance culture, setting clear expectations, and acting as a role model. Support the Head of Section in strategy and decision-making.
- Service Delivery: Ensure efficient and consistent delivery of services aligned with customer expectations. Empower employees and encourage individual growth to enhance overall team capabilities. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality delivery. Act as Project Manager/Project Sponsor for relevant projects.
- Team Fostering: Stimulate a high-performing culture by setting a clear direction and being output-driven. Promote team capabilities both internally and externally. Create a flexible workforce and automate workflows to manage variable workloads. Build and strengthen a strong internal culture based on company values.
- Talent Development: Take ownership of the development of technical talent and future-needed capabilities within the team. Facilitate efficient cooperation among teams in the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark.
- Business Development: Develop competencies and services within the team to facilitate growth in new segments. Actively engage in dialogue with clients and serve as a project sponsor for initiatives within your team.

Requirements:
- At least Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant experience in one or more of the technical subject areas.
- Previous experience in the Energy sector, especially within oil and gas and/or renewables (hydrogen, storage, carbon capture) would be an advantage.
