DNV's Energy Markets Analytics team is looking for a Senior Consultant (acting Team Lead) specialized in electricity markets. DNV is undergoing a strong expansion in power price forecasting throughout the SEMELA region and is looking to reinforce its current team in Chile. The candidates will be integrated with a young and high-powered team that has a clear mandate to grow in terms of market coverage and scope of work. The position will be based in Santiago del Chile, Chile.
DNV's power price forecasting activity is structured around a set of internal processes and tools that combine a fundamental approach (dispatch models) with statistical and artificial intelligence methods that aim to understand and replicate the market agents' interaction with the different power and ancillary services markets.

Qualifications
- Degree in Energy/Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline as long as candidates have demonstrated experience in Electricity Markets.
- Strong experience (up to 10 years) in Electricity Markets, including ancillary services and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record of leading client engagements, prioritizing and managing multiple projects, and delivering high-quality results within budget and timeline constraints.
- Software knowledge in energy system modeling languages like PLP and in programming languages like Python and SQL.
- Experience in leadership and team coordination, with the ability to inspire and support multidisciplinary teams, is considered an advantage.
- Proactive and forthcoming attitude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Adaptability and resilience, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (both verbal and written).
