Your Impact as Newbuilding Project Manager
We're seeking a passionate and experienced overseas Newbuilding Project Manager to join our team in Nantong, China. This exciting 3-years assignment offers you the chance to make your mark on a significant container carrier construction project while experiencing life in one of China's charming cities. Area China South is a vibrant part of DNV's Maritime Region Greater China, where over 150 talented professionals across 4 major locations work together to deliver world-class ship classification and certification services.
As our Newbuilding Project Manager, you'll drive excellence through the entire project lifecycle. You'll be the face of DNV, building relationships with shipyard teams and owners while coordinating expert teams to ensure world-class delivery.

The Expertise We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
- The candidate should have working experience as project manager of new building big container ship.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or experience as Chief Engineer
- Minimum 5 years of Newbuilding experience as Class Surveyor
- Understanding of class roles, rules, and systematics
- Experience as a Newbuilding Project Manager
- Advantageous to have experience with Dry Cargo Ships
- Fluent verbal and written command of English
