Responsibilities
- To manage the achievement of own KPI targets.
- To create and promote a working environment whereby all employees reporting to you are encouraged to participate in the improvement of work processes that govern the Activity of Certification. This shall include the maintenance of open communication within the organization as well as the proper training of personnel to supply them with the necessary tools to perform the work.
- To ensure that the work is performed in accordance with the quality requirements of the Activity, the instructions of your line manager and the procedures governing the Activity. This includes overall responsibility for product certification activities.
- To review and monitor the auditors’ performance and arrange the witness audit as requested.
- To develop and maintain the system that governs the functioning of the operational units.
- To advise the Product Responsible on the areas where the Management System Certification (MSC) scheme could be developed to enhance DNV position in the marketplace.
- The promotion of DNV Certification to potential clients.
- To ensure the independent nature of the MSC scheme is not compromised or jeopardized at any time and ensure that the quality of the service is maintained through the initiation of the management review and internal audit processes.
- To review and approve of pertinent Management System documents that govern the functioning of the activity and assess, on a continual basis, the financial results of the activity.
- To assure adequate resources are provided to perform work and plan and execute audits, report the results of audits and follow-up, as required, within agreed timescales and economic budgets.
- To assure appropriate internal training courses are developed, as necessary, and administered.
- Other duties assigned by appropriate management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above. Master is preferred.
- Qualified lead auditor (QMS/EMS/OHSAS etc.)
- Minimum 5 years working experience including 2 years management experience within certification industry
- Fluent English speaking with excellent communication skills
