Reporting to: Area Manager / Regional Manager

Team Size: District sales managers

Primary Function: Responsible for the business development of DNV management system certification service and associated training service; Responsible for Sales target achievement.

Job function description:

  • As senior advisor to Regional Manager and Area Manager to define long term planning and execution for the business development in China.
  • As key partner with Global Market & Industry team to deploy global business development initiatives.
  • Supervise and develop the district sales managers, including the allocation of sales target to districts, teams, and individuals.
  • Manage, motivate and develop the sales and customer services teams in the responsible geographical areas.
  • Manage the sales target achievement.
  • Review the sales force capacity against the AOP and sales progress, and determine how the resource should be adjusted for business development.
  • Manage the Key Accounts, both global and local.
  • Review the sales and customer service team performance with district operations managers together, and define robust plan for the performance improvement.
  • Actively cooperate with Operations, Technical/Quality, and other teams for conformance to DNV and regulatory requirements.

Education level/experience requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in preferrable discipline of Engineering, Applied Science, or Information Technologies.
  • Min 15 years working experience, including Minimum 5 years in manufacturing industry or engineering field.
  • Minimum 5 years in certification industry, and Minimum 5 years managerial experience in business development, sales, and/or marketing.
  • Having management system auditing experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Skill requirements:

  • Strong customer concentric mindset.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Have both Chinese & English language capability for written and oral communications.
