We are seeking an experienced Change Management & Adoption Lead to drive enterprise-wide adoption of Power BI as part of a strategic BI platform modernization initiative. This role will focus on business engagement, change enablement, and adoption acceleration by helping business teams understand new capabilities, adjust reporting workflows, and fully leverage the new analytics ecosystem. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and technical delivery teams to ensure that users transition successfully from MicroStrategy-based reporting to Power BI dashboards and self-service analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Change Strategy & Adoption Planning
- Develop and execute the change management strategy for the BI migration program.
- Define adoption roadmap, stakeholder engagement model, and communication plans.
- Identify business groups impacted by the migration and develop targeted adoption plans.
- Business Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the bridge between business teams and BI delivery teams.
- Conduct workshops to:
- Demonstrate Power BI capabilities
- Address perceived feature gaps compared to MicroStrategy
- Align reporting needs with Power BI capabilities
- Capture business feedback and adoption challenges and feed them into the product backlog.
- Work with analytics teams to create standardized report templates and dashboards.
- Promote consistent design patterns and reporting standards across business units.
- Ensure that business teams adopt approved Power BI reporting frameworks instead of recreating Legacy structures.
- Design and deliver a structured Power BI adoption program including:
- Business user training sessions
- Role-based learning paths
- Self-service analytics enablement
- Office hours and helpdesk support
- User guides
- Quick reference sheets
- Recorded tutorials
- Internal knowledge base
- Define and track BI adoption metrics, such as:
- Active Power BI users
- Report usage statistics
- Legacy MicroStrategy report retirement rate
- Business satisfaction scores
- Work with technical teams to evaluate feature differences between MicroStrategy and Power BI.
- Communicate workarounds, new approaches, or design alternatives to business teams.
- Ensure users understand new ways of working rather than replicating Legacy behavior.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in change management, business transformation, or analytics adoption programs
- Experience supporting enterprise BI (PowerBI) or data platform transformations
- Proven track record of driving technology adoption within business teams
Technical / Domain Knowledge
